Our Last Week in Madrid

The final week on Madrid was a whirlwind as we attended a Roman Festival in Alcalá, visited the Royal Palace, the Cathedral of the Almudena and its Crypt, the Museum Reina Sofía of Contemporary Art (where Picasso's Guernica is located), and the Thyssen-Bornemitzsa Museum. The best day was spent at the Madrid Temple with some of our students.

Here are some shots from our wandering around Madrid:

The Cathedral of the Almudena located in front of the main entrance to the Palace.

This the ceiling of the grand staircase in the Palace. It is only place where you can take pictures in the Palace.
